Club members have competed in several game jams since the founding of
the club. Game jams are competitions in which each individual or team
makes a game in a short period of time, usually just a few days. Most
game jams have a theme which serves as inspiration.
UNL Game Dev Club Game Jam 2022
In Fall 2022, the UNL Game Dev Club hosted its first game jam! The
jam ran for 34 hours, from November 12 to 13, 2022. The theme was
"Stay out of sight". All games submitted for the jam can be played
below.
You are an escaped convict at large, and every 5 seconds you need
to make sure you are hidden amongst the crowd. If you aren't 70%
covered when the timer runs out your score is reset. How high can
you get your score?
The celestial conjunction is nigh. Assemble your cult and seek
out mystical artifacts to summon forth the elder gods, but be
wary: the Watch is ever vigilant.

A few club members and alumni competed in the online
Game Maker's Toolkit Game Jam 2022. The jam ran from July 15 to 17, 2022. The theme was "Roll of the
Dice". At the time, this jam was the largest online game jam of all

game jam. The jam ran from April 23 to 26, 2021. The theme was
"Deeper and deeper". All 3,866 games submitted for the jam can be

Game Maker's Toolkit Game Jam 2020. The jam ran from July 10 to 12, 2020. The theme was "Out of
Control". At the time, this jam was the largest online game jam of

game jam. The jam ran from April 17 to 20, 2020. The theme was "Keep
It Alive". At the time, this jam was the largest online game jam of

The club competed in Kansas State University’s sixth annual game jam.
The jam ran from February 14 to 16, 2020. The theme was "What Goes Up
Must Come Down". All games submitted for the jam can be played on
itch.io.
A local multiplayer game where one player plays a squirrel who
tries to defeat the other play, a lumberjack, who tries to chop
down the forest's trees!

The club sent a team of 3 students to compete in Texas A&M
University's
Chillenium 2019 game jam. The
jam ran from October 4 to 6, 2019. The theme was "One For All And All
For One".
A few club members participated in the online
Game Maker's Toolkit Game Jam 2019. The jam ran from August 2 to 4, 2019. At the time, this jam was
the largest online game jam of all time. The theme was "Only One".

A puzzle-platformer where you must use four unique items to
navigate your way to the end of the level. The twist? You can
only hold one item at a time, so you must throw the items around
the level to transport them!

The jam ran from February 8 to 10, 2019. The theme was "Left Behind."

moon and launch yourself around levels to defeat the evil Flat
Earth Alliance that shrunk you down!

"Special Weapons Project", designed to create super soldiers.
Escape with the help of another subject, or risk transforming
into a monster.
